A series-A startup building AI-powered software for pharmaceutical research seeking an AI Engineer to join its growing team.

This is a full-stack engineering role with a strong frontend emphasis. You’ll have ownership across the product stack—from user interfaces to infrastructure supporting AI models.

Tech Stack: Typescript, Next.js, Python, Large Language Models (LLMs), AWS

Location: New York, NY (3 days/week)

Salary: Up to 230k base + equity

Responsibilities:

Develop intuitive frontend applications used by research scientists
Build and maintain full-stack features that support AI-driven experimentation workflows
Collaborate with machine learning engineers, designers, and scientific users to shape new product capabilities
Work directly with customers to understand their research workflows and translate them into software tools
Contribute to backend services that support scalable AI model inference and data processing

Requirements:

4+ years of experience as a software engineer
2+ years of experience as an AI engineer
Experience with Typescript, Next.js, Python and AWS
Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
1+ year of experience at a high-growth startup
