Founding Engineer

Our client is looking for their first engineering hire.

The founder graduated several years back, went straight into forming his first firm in the fintech space and successfully sold it for 8 figures. He's now put all of that investment back into self-funding a new venture focused in the consumer trading and financial technology space.

He's looking for a remote friendly (couple trips over to New York a year) Founding Engineer/ CTO to build this new venture with him.

Platform is being built in Python & GoLang so experience in one or both of these would be highly advantageous.

Experience in developing data infrastructure (ideally for a consumer product-focused business).

Background in having founded an engineering team, been an early hire or gone through a successful acquisition/ IPO would be very advantageous.

They are paying up to a $325,000 base, with an annual bonus of $150k~ & sizeable equity package.
