We think one of the biggest opportunities at early-stage companies is turning growth, onboarding, demos, and customer activation into a productized system instead of doing it manually. Reducing friction from first interest to first successful test run, instrumenting each part of the funnel, making the whole GTM motion higher leverage and more systematized.
**What you'd work on**
\- Signup, onboarding, activation, time-to-first-value. The whole path from landing page to first green test run
\- Internal and customer-facing tools that make demos, trials, and setup faster and more scalable
\- Instrument funnel steps with our analytics stack. Help us actually understand where people drop off and why
\- Product surfaces that directly impact adoption and revenue. Billing, settings, CLI onboarding
\- Automate manual founder-led GTM where it makes sense
\- Work closely with founders across product, growth, and customers
**What we're looking for**
\- Strong engineering ability
\- High agency and product intuition
\- Learns quickly, comfortable with ambiguity
\- Wants to be customer-facing
\- Optimizing for slope and rate of learning
\- Disagreeable. Strong opinions, loosely held
\- Excited to work on high-leverage business problems through software
\- Can move between business context and engineering execution fluidly
**Strong signals**
\- You've built onboarding flows, growth experiments, internal tools, or worked on pricing
\- You view business and user problems as systems and like optimizing them
\- You've closed the gap between "we do this manually" and "this is now a tool"
\- You understand engineering systems and business processes at a high level
**Probably not a fit if**
\- You want cleanly scoped backend or infrastructure problems
\- You dislike ambiguous work at the boundary of multiple disciplines
\- You think GTM-adjacent engineering is less interesting than "core" engineering
**Why this role specifically**
\- One of the highest-leverage parts of an early-stage company
\- Direct, measurable line between your work and company growth
\- Broad ownership across product, engineering, onboarding, and revenue

Revyl is building AI-native mobile infrastructure. We automate software reliability, starting with end-to-end testing that lets companies ship faster with confidence. You write tests in natural language, our AI agents execute them on iOS and Android devices, and you get back full execution traces. The underlying primitive is AI agents that can actually operate phones. Testing is the first application.

The founding team built DragonCrawl at Uber AI and left to commercialize it. We're backed by Felicis, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator, with angels including the co-creator of OpenTelemetry and people from Meta, Nvidia, and Uber. We have early enterprise traction and are building toward being the default reliability platform.
**Why join?**
-Hard technical problems (AI agents, distributed systems, mobile device infrastructure) not CRUD apps
\- Shape technical and product direction from the ground floor
\- Flat hierarchy, high ownership, full autonomy
\- Small, talent-dense founding team in San Francisco
\- Competitive compensation and equity
