Senior Software Engineer (2-5+ YOE) - Backend/Full-Stack - Up to $300k base + equity

A well-funded, late-stage unicorn startup backed by Tier-1 VCs is building next-generation AI systems for the $13 trillion housing industry, which represents a major portion of the U.S. economy. The firm just did a massive round of funding and is scaling rapidly across every vertical.

The Engineering team here is solving some of the hardest problems in AI today: agentic workflows and LLM applications across voice, text, and chat; all with an exceptionally lean, research-led approach. You will be challenged daily to identify how the platform can scale and execute on it.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work on a small team with other top engineers, take on significant ownership, lead projects, and see your ideas come to fruition fast. You’ll essentially operate like a small startup within a startup.

If building autonomous systems, owning features end-to-end, and seeing real-world impact from your code sounds compelling, this could be the right fit for you.

Ideally you bring an exceptional educational background paired with experience in a startup environment. Proficiency building production-level code in Python (Java, C#, Go are useful as well) will be critical for success in this role. Experience at a successfully scaled, AI-native business would particularly stand out. Nice to haves include AWS experience and an understanding of machine learning/data.

This is a full-time, onsite position (4-5 days) in San Francisco. Salary is flexible, generally ranging from $240,000–$300,000 + equity + comprehensive benefits package.
