About the Role

A fast-moving AI startup in the logistics space is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (AI Agents) to build the core systems behind an intelligent automation platform used in highly complex, operations-heavy industries. You’ll design and ship production-grade LLM systems, contribute across the stack, and play a key role in evolving both the product and technical architecture.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate closely with the founding team, contribute to major architectural decisions, and build technology that solves real-world operational problems at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale the core automation and AI agent systems that power the platform

• Work across the stack: backend APIs, data pipelines, orchestration layers, and frontend workflows

• Design and deploy agent-based LLM components for reasoning, extraction, and decision-making

• Collaborate directly with users to understand workflows and ship high-impact solutions

• Contribute to architecture discussions and help drive key technical decisions

• Write clean, reliable, maintainable code with strong engineering fundamentals

• Support roadmap execution and help elevate engineering standards as the team grows

Who You Are

• A senior-level engineer with experience in high-growth or startup environments

• Comfortable owning projects end-to-end with minimal oversight

• Strong in 0→1 product development and able to operate in ambiguous problem spaces

• Genuinely interested in applied AI and complex operational workflows

• Pragmatic, execution-focused, and thoughtful about long-term system design

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong full-stack capabilities (React, TypeScript, Go, Node.js, or Python)

• Experience designing and shipping production backend systems and APIs

• Hands-on experience building or integrating LLM-powered or agent-based systems

• Ability to design scalable services and data pipelines

• Strong technical judgment and ability to make sound tradeoffs

• Clear communicator who can collaborate cross-functionally and with customers

Bonus Points

• Experience with retrieval pipelines, orchestration frameworks, or structured data extraction

• Background in logistics, operations, or other data-intensive domains

• Prior experience at an early-stage startup
