2. About the Opportunity:

The Software Developer, AI will embed directly within portfolio companies to build AI-powered features, integrations, and internal tools that address complex business challenges. This role is responsible for developing solutions that drive business impact, working closely with product and operations teams to translate needs into technical outcomes. The position requires taking full ownership of the delivery cycle and leveraging AI capabilities to create meaningful product improvements across multiple businesses.

3. Responsibilities:

• Embed within portfolio companies to understand products, codebases, and gaps

• Design and develop AI-powered features, integrations, and internal tools across various technology stacks

• Collaborate with product and operations teams to convert business problems into technical solutions

• Manage the full delivery cycle including scoping, building, shipping, measuring, and iterating

• Identify and build AI capabilities that provide real product leverage

• Work across multiple portfolio companies over time to develop expertise in effective solutions

4. Requirements:

• Strong software development fundamentals with ability to write clean, production-quality code in any language or stack

• Hands-on experience shipping AI features using large language models, agents, or AI tooling

• Ability to frame problems clearly by understanding business needs before coding

• Comfort working with incomplete requirements and ambiguity

• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

• Self-motivated with a focus on improving codebases and moving quickly

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
