Role Description

This is a full-time, in-person role for a Founding Machine Learning (ML) Engineer. The Founding ML Engineer will design, implement, and deploy machine learning models and learned policies that power our dispatch optimization engine. Responsibilities include developing supervised models and reinforcement learning systems, building the data and training infrastructure that supports them, and owning models end-to-end from research through production. The role works closely with the founder on technical direction and contributes to the foundation of the company's algorithmic core.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Machine Learning, including supervised learning and reinforcement learning
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including Algorithms and Data Structures
• Experience with combinatorial optimization, operations research, or large-scale decision-making systems
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying ML models in production
• Experience with scalable architectures and end-to-end ML system development is a plus
• Domain experience in logistics, freight, marketplaces, or matching systems is a plus
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field is preferred
