The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on Founding Software Engineer to help build the foundation of SideKix our product, our technology and our culture. This isn’t a “job.” It’s a build-it-together-from-zero partnership. You’ll own architecture, development and the evolution of the platform as we prepare to scale nationwide.
This position reports directly to the CTO.
What You’ll do
- Partner on product vision and execution
- Build and scale SideKix from MVP forward — as both coder and strategist
- Implement and manage a Qdrant-based vector database
- Architect and deploy infrastructure across React, Node.js, Firebase, Google APIs and AWS
- Design and implement gamification systems that drive engagement and retention
- Automate app maintenance, release cycles and bug fixes for reliability and scale
- Analytics, Data gathering, governance, security and compliance
- Lead post-launch improvements using real user data and feedback
- Dashboard design and creation creation
- Manage performance monitoring, crash reporting, and security
- Optimize hosting and backend systems for performance and cost
- Write clean, maintainable code with documentation that lasts
What You Bring
- Proven track record building, shipping, and iterating.
- Deep experience in full-stack development and scalable architecture
- Founder mindset, comfortable switching between code, strategy and leadership
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, mobile frameworks, APIs and payments
- Passion for AI-driven personalization and human-centered design
- Familiarity with Figma and analytics tools a huge plus
- Bonus: Background supporting small business, creator or education platforms
