Mid–Senior Full-Stack Developer | 3-Month Contract
Mid–Senior Full-Stack Developer | 3-Month Contract
We're a compliance-focused startup and we have an MVP that needs to cross the finish line. Our internal team built it. It works. Now we need someone to own it, design, infrastructure, and all the gaps in between.
This is a 3-month contract at ~$10K/month. If you're exceptional, there may be a path to full-time or part-time after that. We're being transparent: we don't know yet. What we do know is the next 90 days matter.
What we're looking for:
Ownership. You've taken a project from concept to launch. You can speak to scope, your specific role, how you communicated with leadership, and how you managed timelines.
Attention to detail. We operate in compliance. One bug can cost a client their license to operate. We need someone who sees the forest and the trees and knows which one matters in the moment.
Thoughtful AI use. We're an AI-forward team and you'll have access to every tool available. What we want to understand is how you use it: does it make you faster without making you blind to the codebase? Can you move quicker because of AI while still owning what you ship?
Builder mindset. We're not looking for someone who goes card to card on Jira. We need someone who spots the 10% that's missing, fills it in, and thinks alongside leadership on product and features. Connect the dots. Raise the flags. Solve for the goal, not just the ticket.
Team fit. As you might have noticed from the above, this is not a usual position. This is also not a common company or a common team. We are a small, lean team, and we are building something cool. We believe in teamwork and communication. Things will get hard. We are looking for someone who enjoys that challenge. If you are looking for a part-time gig or a standard 9-5 for 3 months, this is not the position for you, and that's okay.
The project:
A 100% vibe-coded MVP that has the right functionality. Now it needs the right everything else. Your job is to make it beautiful, make it solid, and get it to production-ready. That means owning design, infrastructure, and the full path to launch.
Our stack:
React · Next.js · TypeScript · Node.js · PostgreSQL (RDS) · Prisma · AWS (CloudFront, S3, ECR) · GitHub CI/CD · Python (internal services)
