Build a Real-World, AI-Driven Commerce Platform

We’re building a venture-backed division rethinking how local commerce operates. This isn’t a greenfield project — it’s a live environment with real revenue, real constraints, and immediate opportunities to deploy what you build. We’re looking for a Product Builder/Operator — someone who can think like a founder, build like an engineer, and operate like a business owner. This is not a traditional engineering role. You won’t be handed tickets or clean specs. You will help decide what gets built — and then build it.

What You’ll Do

Build and Ship Core Product (Fast)

• Rapidly prototype and launch features using AI-native tools
• Turn messy real-world problems into working systems
• Iterate in days, not months
• Decide what to build vs. outsource
• Manage outsourced resources

Design Real-World Systems (Including Payments)

• Build and improve systems across:
• payments and loyalty flows (with best-in-class partners)
• internal operations and CRM
• Experiment with modern payment infrastructure, including blockchain-based payment rails
• Own the internal “operating system” of the company

Operate Like a Founder

• Make product and technical decisions with incomplete information
• Prioritize ruthlessly based on impact
• Take ownership, challenge assumptions, and propose better approaches
• Move fluidly between product, operations, and code

Core Skills / Experience

• Strong generalist coding ability (you can get things live without handholding)
• Experience with:
• LLM APIs / AI workflows
• automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.)
• rapid prototyping tools (Cursor, Replit, etc.)
• fintech and payments (POS experience a plus)
• marketplaces (Shopify, affiliate tools, social commerce tools)
• blockchain/crypto payment rails (nice to have)
• Product intuition — you can make solid decisions without full data
• Comfortable working across the stack and across functions
• Built something yourself (side project, startup, scrappy tool, etc.)
• Used AI tools to accelerate your own output

Compensation

Mid $100k’s + performance-based bonus tied to real outcomes + equity with a path to increased ownership based on impact
