AI Product Manager / Vibe Coder — Figwork

Figwork is building the infrastructure for a new kind of labor marketplace. We help companies turn business problems into structured, quality-verified deliverables through a network of vetted contractors. We are looking for an exceptional AI Product Manager / Vibe Coder who can think like a product leader, architect like a senior engineer, and execute like a builder.

This is not a traditional product manager role. We want someone with deep architectural understanding who can take complex ideas, design scalable systems around them, and help bring them to life fast. Ideally, you are highly technical, product-minded, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while building real systems from zero to one.

What you’ll do

• Setup Claude Code automation and development pipeline with high level of oversight
• Own product design and execution for core AI-powered workflows across the platform
• Translate messy business problems into clear product requirements, technical specs, and scalable system designs
• Work closely with founders and engineering to define architecture, user flows, and platform logic
• Prototype quickly, ship fast, and iterate on complex internal and external tools
• Design systems that can scale reliably across users, workflows, data, and integrations
• Think deeply about AI product behavior, orchestration, automation, reliability, and edge cases
• Bridge product vision and engineering execution without losing speed or clarity

What we’re looking for

• Strong product instinct and sharp judgment on what should be built
• Deep architectural understanding of how complex software systems are designed and scaled
• Ability to prototype and build quickly while still thinking long term
• Comfortable working across product, engineering, AI workflows, backend logic, APIs, and infrastructure
• Able to manage complexity without getting lost in it
• Strong communicator who can convert ideas into concrete execution plans
• High ownership, high speed, and very comfortable with pressure

Ideal background

• Experience building or shipping AI-native products, internal tools, workflow systems, or service platforms
• Strong understanding of system design, backend architecture, and scalable service development
• Able to reason through tradeoffs across product experience, engineering complexity, and business needs
• Technical enough to work directly with engineers and ideally prototype independently
