What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy End-to-End Features: Guide user stories from conception to deployment; validate requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
• Diagnose and Resolve Bugs: Trace issues to their origins through systematic analysis, address underlying causes (not surface symptoms), and prevent recurrence through strategic testing
• Elevate Engineering Standards: Assess designs and code submissions to guarantee clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from taking root

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for technical exercise
• Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
• Spending time in prolonged meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with stakeholders
• Simply delivering features; you'll own the resolution of genuine problems

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production-grade code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Proven ownership: Documented track record of owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams, not merely executing isolated tasks
• Self-sufficient execution: Capacity to overcome obstacles independently, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain environments
• Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
