Commercial real estate transactions represent hundreds of billions of dollars annually, yet the technology supporting them remains intermediary-heavy, fragmented and outdated. REItrades is building the infrastructure to modernize this process and unlock a significantly more efficient and scalable way to transact.

REItrades is an online CRE marketplace designed for streamlined investment sales. We are building an AI-powered digital marketing and transaction management platform that connects sellers directly with our growing network of pre-vetted buyers, which now includes over 5,800 decision makers from 3,300+ CRE investment firms.

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join our team, take ownership of the next stage of platform development, and be deeply hands-on in building and scaling a platform with two-sided traction and significant upside potential.

This is not a contract role, and we’re not looking for a third-party software development firm.

The stack:

We’ve built a high-performance, production-ready foundation designed to handle real transaction volume and complexity. The core system is live and now it’s about scaling it, extending it, and building the next layer on top.

Backend: Rust (Actix/Axum) — built for high performance, memory safety, and efficient concurrency
Frontend: Vue.js — clean, fast, component-based UI
Database: PostgreSQL — reliable, scalable data layer
Infrastructure: GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL) — auto-scaling, production-ready
DevOps: Terraform — infrastructure as code
Architecture: Modular, service-oriented system built to scale

What we’re looking for:

Strong full-stack builder with experience owning systems end-to-end
Has built from scratch or been an early engineer at a startup
Comfortable making architectural and product decisions independently
Able to take over and evolve an existing codebase

Compensation & Structure:

Meaningful equity as a founding technical partner, with a technical leadership role shaping the platform and a transition to salary once capital is raised.
