AI Agent Engineer
Chanced and Punt are two fast-growing social casino brands on a mission to build the most engaging, player-first gaming experience in North America. We move fast, operate lean, and are actively expanding into prediction markets — the next frontier of our product roadmap. We believe AI is the single biggest lever available to a small team that wants to punch above its weight.
We're looking for an AI Agent Engineer to help transform how our company operates — not by adding more people, but by multiplying the capability and throughput of every person who's here.
Your mandate is simple but audacious: build, deploy, and orchestrate AI agents that dramatically amplify our internal productivity. You'll sit at the nerve center of the company, working directly with the founders, to identify, design, and launch autonomous systems that replace repetitive workflows, augment decision-making with real data, and accelerate execution across every team.
You won't be handed a task list. You'll go hunting for opportunities based on priorities set with the founders — then you'll build and ship.
Why This Role Matters
This is not a side project. This is the operational backbone of how we scale. The agents you design and deploy will literally become part of our workforce — compounding productivity across VIP, CRM, growth, compliance, and beyond. We are heavily leaning into an AI-first operating model — Claude, n8n, Intercom, Hex/Redshift, Linear, Slack, and Notion are already in our stack, with active automation pipelines in flight. You're coming in to own and accelerate that layer — and help us build the operational infrastructure for prediction markets from the ground up.
What You Will Do
- Architect, build, and deploy internal AI agents that reason over unstructured and structured data (Slack, Intercom, Redshift, Google Sheets, Notion, CRM, email) and act autonomously — automating tasks, generating insights, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating actions across systems
- Identify and map inefficiencies across functions (VIP management, CRM/bonus ops, player support, fraud, compliance, affiliate reporting, finance) and build agentic automations that eliminate manual work and compress decision cycles
- Help lay the operational groundwork for our prediction markets expansion — building the internal systems, tooling, and workflows that will support a new business line from day one
- Prototype and ship fast — from prompt chains and n8n workflows to LLM orchestration frameworks; you won't wait for perfection before deploying
- Collaborate across every department to re-imagine workflows through an AI-first lens — not incremental efficiency, but fundamental redesign
- Instrument and track impact — measure the before/after of every agent deployment on throughput, decision quality, and team capacity
- Teach and evangelize AI adoption across the organization; make the whole team more AI-capable over time
What We're Looking For
- You've shipped AI automations in production — not demos, not POCs that never launched. Real systems with real users
- You're hands-on with orchestration tools: n8n, Make, LangChain, or equivalent. You can move from whiteboard to working workflow in hours
- You understand LLM fundamentals — prompt engineering, RAG, tool-calling, agent memory — well enough to design reliable systems, not just prototype interesting ones
- You've mapped a messy business process and rebuilt it from scratch. You know the difference between automating a bad workflow and fixing it first
- You're comfortable working directly with founders with high autonomy and low hand-holding
- You have a bias for action and a low tolerance for things that should be automated but aren't
- Gaming, fintech, or consumer subscription experience is a strong plus — you'll be operating in a regulated, high-velocity environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with Intercom, Redshift/Hex, or similar CRM/data warehouse stacks
- Familiarity with sweepstakes, social casino, fintech, sports betting, fantasy sports, or prediction markets operations
- You've previously been the "one person" responsible for an automation layer at a company
