A high-growth AI cybersecurity startup is building next-generation defense systems to combat automated, AI-driven threats. Their platform uses autonomous agents to identify, validate, and remediate vulnerabilities in complex enterprise environments—before attackers can exploit them.

This is a true builder role at a company operating at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. You’ll be part of a small, elite team shipping quickly, solving hard problems, and directly impacting how enterprises defend against next-generation threats.

What You’ll Do
- Build and ship production-grade features across a distributed system
- Develop and improve AI-driven agent pipelines and ingestion systems
- Design resilient backend systems with real-world failure handling
- Contribute across the stack (APIs, infrastructure, data pipelines)
- Own features end-to-end—from concept to deployment
- Work directly with leadership and customers to solve complex problems
- 3–5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record of shipping complete systems end-to-end
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows
- Strong understanding of distributed systems (retries, idempotency, failure handling)
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- High ownership mindset—self-directed and execution-focused
- Experience with Temporal or similar distributed workflow systems
- Background in enterprise SaaS or multi-cloud environments
- Strong open-source or GitHub presence
