About The Company
CyOne is a mission-focused software company dedicated to delivering advanced capabilities to the U.S. Department of War and allied partners. Our primary platform, WISRD (Wide-area ISR Discovery), is designed to enable multi-domain situational awareness, intelligence support for targeting, and ISR orchestration across diverse environments including cloud, on-premise, and tactical edge settings. WISRD is actively deployed in operational environments and aligns with emerging Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) initiatives. The platform integrates and fuses data from ISR sensors, mission systems, and partner sources to support real-time decision-making in complex operational scenarios. CyOne’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence positions us as a leader in defense and intelligence technology solutions.
About The Role
CyOne is seeking an AI / ML Engineer to lead the development of an AI-enabled assistant embedded within the WISRD platform. This role involves designing and implementing intelligent capabilities that allow analysts and operators to interact with mission data through natural language queries, navigate workflows, generate actionable insights, and trigger automated responses. The ideal candidate will serve as the technical lead for AI functionalities within WISRD, owning the architecture, development, and deployment processes from initial concept to operational integration. This position is critical for enhancing the platform’s intelligence capabilities, particularly in challenging environments characterized by disconnected, degraded, intermittent, and low-bandwidth (DDIL) conditions. The role offers an opportunity to influence high-impact projects supporting real-world operational deployments in a collaborative, agile environment.
Qualifications
CyOne is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, or any other protected status. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to these factors.
