AI Software Engineer - (GC and Citizen)

Title: AI Software Engineer

Duration: 6 months (will most likely extend/convert)

Location: Hybrid in SF (at least 2 days/week)

Process: 1 hour technical and a follow up team interview

Notes:

• Will join the new "Agentic Team."
• Will be working with DS customers and internal teams
• Must have experience with React/Typescript/Javascript
• Must have excellent communication skills

• As a founding member of the Agentic Team, you will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, product managers, and marketers to develop, test, and launch revenue engines using AI and automation.
• You will be responsible for taking software from ideation to deployment, often venturing into uncharted territory, developing brand-new solutions and iterating based on real-world learnings. You'll thrive by thinking outside the box, talking directly to our customers, understanding the business case for your projects, and setting the pace and breadth for engineers across the company.
• This role will report to the Senior Director of Growth and work regularly with the Head of Applied AI.

Responsibilities :

• Automate everything. We will aggressively use LLMs, Python/JS scripts, APIs and virtual servers to automate processes.
• Create secure, efficient backend services and agent pipelines in Python, Javascript or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Develop and maintain feedback loops for your AI Agents
• Work directly with customers and internal GTM teams to understand needs and iterate quickly.
• Create user-focused frontend experiences using React & Typescript/Javascript.
• Quickly adapt to new technologies, coding languages and domains.
• Proactively raise issues that might impact delivery commitments
• Participate in Agile environments using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (Git)

Basic Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience building AI Agents and prompt engineering
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., LLMs for coding assistance, code generation) to accelerate software delivery.
• Experience with React, Typescript/Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Python, Java or other object oriented programming languages
• Experience with integration of third-party APIs
• Experience with public cloud (Azure or AWS)
