Forward Deployed Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will shape high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution. You will partner across technical and business teams to turn complex ideas into scalable solutions and meaningful outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence both roadmap priorities and long-term organizational capability.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $200,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across the full lifecycle (discovery ? architecture ? deployment ? iteration)
• Build integrations connecting AI systems with engineering tools, workflows, and data sources
• Deploy and refine AI systems in production environments
• Translate complex engineering challenges into scalable AI solutions
• Troubleshoot live deployments and drive continuous improvements
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineering teams to evolve the product
  

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Python preferred)
• Experience shipping data-driven or AI systems into production
• Ability to rapidly integrate disparate systems
• Comfortable working directly with customers and technical leaders
• Builder mindset - thrives in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
