Job Description
You will be the first engineering hire at a profitable startup building the monetization rails for interactive livestreaming. Working directly with the CTO, you will architect real-time systems and ship products used by 600k+ monthly users. This is a high-ownership role designed for a builder who wants to scale a platform handling $500k GMV monthly.

What You Will Do

• Architect and scale real-time infrastructure using WebSockets for live queues and payment processing for fan submissions.
• Build and ship end-to-end features including fan CRM systems, automated clipping engines, and peer-to-peer payment rails.
• Own the entire DevOps lifecycle, implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment systems to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users.
  

The Ideal Candidate

• 0-4 years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of building 0→1 products or significant side projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, with fluency in AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• A high-velocity builder comfortable with 50+ hour weeks who is passionate about a domain outside of coding, such as music or gaming.
