Founding Engineer (Frontend)

We are now looking for a frontend focused Founding Engineer to join our team. As one of our first hires, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company, our culture, and technology. You will fully own the frontend of Letter AI's web app and help us deliver a world-class user experience driven by the latest advances in generative AI.

Your key responsibilities will include:Develop high-performance, responsive frontend interface using React and ReduxImplement engaging and delightful UI experiences using Material UITake full ownership of the frontend code, ensuring its quality, scalability, reliability and maintainability in an AWS environmentCollaborate closely with the backend team to ensure smooth integration and contribute to architectural decisions.Understand customers needs and use that knowledge to improve the user experience

Qualifications:3+ years of experience in frontend developmentProven experience working with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Redux, and Material UIIntegrating with backend APIs, using techniques like caching to improve performanceKnowledge of automated UI testing frameworksPast experience or strong interest in generative AI Highly collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
