Founding Product Lead
I’m Neha, founder & CEO of JustAI.
We started JustAI after seeing how broken lifecycle marketing really is - teams stitching together tools, rules, and dashboards, but still far from true personalization or real impact.
We’re building an AI-native system that replaces manual workflows with agents that own decisions end-to-end. Today, companies like Pinterest, Notion, and Figma use JustAI to run lifecycle as an autonomous system.
We’ve scaled quickly over the past year and are now entering the next phase of building a category-defining product.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Founding Product Lead to define and build the product alongside the founding team.
This is not a traditional PM role.
You won’t be writing specs for engineers to execute. You’ll be:
- Defining what we should build
- Prototyping and shipping it yourself (with AI + engineers)
- Working directly with customers to validate and iterate
You’ll operate at the intersection of product, design, and growth, owning the product end-to-end.
You’ll also work closely with designers to explore and define new AI-native interfaces, researching how workflows are changing and building experiences that feel intuitive in a world of agents, copilots, and automation.
If you’ve ever wanted to build a product like a founder, this is that role.
What You’ll Do
1. Own Product Direction (0→1)
- Define what we build and why - grounded in customer problems and market insight
- Translate ambiguous ideas into clear product bets
- Continuously refine product positioning and differentiation
2. Build, Not Just Spec
- Prototype experiences using AI tools, code, or no-code
- Work closely with engineering to ship fast and iterate faster
- Obsess over UX, flows, and how the product actually feels to use
3. Work Directly with Customers
- Spend time with enterprise customers to understand workflows and pain points
- Turn real use cases into product features and systems
- Validate ideas quickly through live usage, not just research
4. Shape the AI-Native Product Experience
- Design how agents behave, make decisions, and interact with users
- Balance power vs simplicity, automation vs control
- Partner deeply with design to research emerging AI interfaces and evolving user workflows
- Push the boundaries of what AI-first UX looks like
5. Drive Product-Led Growth
- Improve activation, onboarding, and core user journeys
- Identify opportunities to make the product more intuitive and self-serve
- Work closely with GTM to align product and messaging
First 90 Days
Day 0–30
- Deep dive into product, customers, and current workflows
- Identify top 2–3 product gaps or opportunities
- Start prototyping and shipping small improvements
Day 30–60
- Work closely with the Eng research team to define 0-1 product innovation
- Establish product principles and direction for the team
- Shape product experience, pricing, packaging, with the GTM team
About You
Background
- 3–8 years in product, or a former founder / early startup operator
- Experience building 0→1 products in fast-moving environments
What You Can Do
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction
- Prototype and ship quickly (with or without engineers)
- Design intuitive, high-quality user experiences
- Work across product, engineering, and GTM seamlessly
How You Think
- You act like a founder — high ownership, high urgency
- You’re a builder, not just a planner
- You’re AI-forward and excited to rethink how products are built
- You push boundaries and question default ways of doing things
- You care deeply about craft — how things feel, not just how they work
Why This Role is Different
Most product roles are about optimizing within an existing system.
This role is about:
- Building a new category, not features
- Defining the product, not managing it
- Shipping fast, not coordinating roadmaps
- Reimagining UX for an AI-native world
You won’t just be improving a product —
you’ll be helping define what this product (and category) becomes.
What You’ll Get
- Direct access to founder, customers, and core decisions
- Ownership over product direction at an early stage
- A front-row seat to building a category-defining company
- A path to product leadership as we scale
