Founding Software Engineer

Fresco AI is building the next-generation AI assistant for the $12T construction industry. Backed by Y Combinator, SignalFire, and Bessemer Venture Partners, we’re making bidding as easy as possible for our customers, improving their top-line revenue (and ours).

We’re looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join us in our San Francisco office. You’ll be honing our tech and solving domain-specific problems that don’t yet have solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and fix gaps or issues in our system based on data from actual users
• Talk to users about their issues and solve them the same day
• Innovate ways to improve our tech based on the latest in AI
• Work directly with the CTO to shape long-term product vision
• Ship

Our Stack

• We use React + TypeScript on the frontend
• We use Python on the backend
• We believe that getting the data model right will let the rest of the code flow easily
• We create pull requests for all code changes for visibility, but don’t require code review

Who You Are

• A recent grad to mid-career professional ready to hustle
• You’ve shipped platforms with AI both in and out of your career
• Curious about construction
• Low ego

Schedule: 10am–7pm, Monday through Friday, in our SF office. Sundays are encouraged.
