About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to building innovative features that drive client success. In this role, you will be involved in every aspect of our technology stack, from enhancing core experimentation functionalities to designing new integrations and refining user experiences. As part of a lean team with fewer than 10 engineers, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and customer-facing teams to deliver impactful solutions. Your first month will focus on hands-on learning, understanding our codebase, and contributing to meaningful projects that benefit our customers. Moving forward, you will tackle complex, ambiguous problems, translating product requirements into scalable, efficient code. Your work may include schema and API design, UI enhancements, and optimizing backend processes, all while maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and empathy for their success.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience owning product and feature development from conception to deployment
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Experience working with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and cloud services such as AWS
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture, databases (MySQL, DynamoDB), and message queues (SQS, Kafka)
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts and maintain focus on priorities
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently
  • Customer-centric mindset with empathy for end-users
Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance core experimentation capabilities of our platform
  • Design and implement new integrations to expand platform functionality
  • Refine user flows and UI components for improved user experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and customer support
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the technical direction of the platform
  • Engage directly or indirectly with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to our tech stack
