We’re hiring our first engineering leader to help build Viable from the ground up.
Viable is an AI-native platform that helps teams validate ideas before they build—combining simulated users with real-world testing to answer a simple question: will this actually work?
This is a founding, highly hands-on role.
You’ll start as the primary builder—owning the product end-to-end—and evolve into the leader of the engineering team as we scale.
You’ll work directly with the CEO to turn product vision into reality and define the technical foundation of the company.
- Own and build the product across the stack
- Be the primary hands-on engineer in the early days—shipping features, fixing issues, and keeping things running smoothly
- Define system architecture and long-term technical direction
- Advance our AI capabilities (simulations + recommendation engine)
- Establish engineering practices, infrastructure, and reliability
- Work with early customers on troubleshooting, product demos and onboarding
- Document systems and decisions to enable fast onboarding as the team grows
- Hire and lead the first engineers, transitioning into a player-coach role over time
- Strong full-stack engineer with startup experience
- Comfortable owning architecture, infrastructure, and product decisions
- Experience working with AI/ML tools or data-driven products
- Builder mindset—you like shipping, not just managing
