Machine Learning Engineer
One of our core beliefs at Morph is that in order to build vertically integrated training and inference systems, you need to be a top 1% product person and a top 1% ML person. We strongly believe that these people need to be the same person.
Your job is to not only be able to build state-of-the-art inference engines, but also have the ideas for what can be leveraged within inference to build useful products.
You’ll work with frontier and open models, weird edge cases, and customers who want results yesterday. You’ll prototype, break things, fix them, and push again the same day. You’ll be expected to think clearly under pressure, tell hard truths, and ship. A lot.
You're also a fit if you know the immense power of coding agents but also know where they tend to fail and how to use them to ship high-quality code and not slop.
Products today, such as Cursor, blend Product Experience, and Model Training, seamlessly and result in an amazing user experience. This is what we're looking for.
You'll hear problems from the customer side and work to source data, train the models, and modify inference engines to properly solve this problem.
If you thrive in chaos, love solving unglamorous problems that actually matter, and want to help build tech that punches way above its weight, apply!
while we love llms, do not apply with an LLM response
