Principal/Lead ML Engineer

Principal ML Engineer role with digital commerce data analytics company:

As a Principal/Lead ML Engineer/Architect, you will develop and deliver AI and DS strategy with senior leadership; architect and build production AI systems at scale (AWS); and lead a small team of ML/DS Engineers.

You have:

• 12+ years DS/ML, engineering, and technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in statistical methods, classical ML, and design.
• Architected and delivered production AI/ML systems at scale in the cloud.
• Experience writing production code (Python, SQL).
• The following: Agentic AI, NLP, text analytics, LLM integration patterns, RAG architectures, MLOps, etc.
• Ability to present to executive leadership and customers.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail and/or classification and matching.
