Job Description:

As the most critical hire of 2026, you will own the technical architecture of a platform revolutionizing cross-border finance. Working directly with a founder from Plutus, you will build the infrastructure for stablecoin payments and an AI-powered Agentic CFO layer, transitioning the product from early design partners to global scale.

• Significant equity stake (1–5%) in a pre-seed startup founded by Jasper Tay, the former Co-Founder & COO of Plutus with a decade of regulated fintech experience.
• You will be the primary technical leader, making all build-vs-buy decisions and shaping the engineering culture from the ground floor as the company closes its funding round.
• Direct exposure to the cutting edge of finance, integrating Stellar and USDC with autonomous AI agents to automate treasury management for 25+ signed design partners.

What you will do:

• Architect and build multi-currency wallets, stablecoin on/off ramps, and yield optimization infrastructure using Stellar and USDC rails.
• Develop the Agentic CFO layer, implementing LLM-powered financial intelligence with autonomous action capabilities and observable AI pipelines.
• Lead the development of a high-performance React/TypeScript merchant dashboard and robust Node.js/Python backend services that meet high compliance standards.

The ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of full-stack experience with React/TypeScript and Node.js or Python, demonstrating high senior-level ownership of complex product architectures.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade AI/LLM features, including agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, or prompt engineering at scale.
• Entrepreneurial background as an early engineer or CTO, ideally with domain expertise in fintech, payments, or blockchain infrastructure like Stellar.
