About the Role：
As a Founding Engineer, you will be a pillar of our company. You will have outsized ownership and impact, joining us at a pivotal moment to iterate on and expand our live product. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong product intuition, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.You will make foundational decisions that will shape our architecture, our product, and our engineering culture for years to come.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy robust, high-performance backend services and infrastructure that power our core AI capabilities.
- Develop intuitive, responsive, and polished user interfaces across the full stack, designed to integrate seamlessly into developer workflows.
- Architect and implement sophisticated Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to provide highly contextual and accurate code assistance.
- Integrate, evaluate, and productionize state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) to power our core code generation, debugging, and chat features.
- Move with velocity: Rapidly prototype, ship, and iterate on new features based on direct feedback from our active user base.
- Take full ownership of systems from the database to the client-side, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Obsess over the developer experience, latency, and performance of every feature you build.
Nice to have:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality, user-facing products.
- Experience building IDE extensions (VS Code, JetBrains).
- A deep understanding of static analysis, compilers, or abstract syntax trees (ASTs).
- Experience with model fine-tuning and evaluation.
- Active participation in open-source developer communities.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

$250,000 - $450,000 USD
