Staff AI Engineer

Founding / Staff AI Engineer (LLMs + Full-Stack)

We’re hiring a senior engineer to own and build the core LLM layer of a fast-growing healthcare platform.

This is a hands-on + strategic role — you’ll architect and ship real-world AI systems (RAG, agents, etc.) that power critical product features at scale.

Must-have:

Experience building production LLM/AI features

(not just experimentation — real systems used by real users)

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and building LLM systems (RAG, agents, vector DBs)
• Shipping scalable distributed systems (APIs, pipelines, microservices)
• Integrating AI into user-facing products end-to-end
• Driving architecture and mentoring engineers

Looking for someone who:

• Has 8+ years in software engineering
• Has built and deployed AI/LLM features in production
• Is comfortable working across the stack
• Enjoys owning complex, high-impact problems

Bonus:

Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2)
