We’re looking for a small group of highly motivated interns to work directly with our team at Helion, helping us build and implement practical AI solutions across the business.

This is not a research role.

This is not a theory-heavy position.

This is for people who like to build.

You’ll be working hands-on to create tools, automations, and workflows that solve real problems and drive real outcomes for the company.

Location: Tampa area (in-person ~3 days/week)

Type: Internship (with potential for long-term opportunity)

What You’ll Be Doing

Building AI-driven tools, automations, and workflows
Turning ideas into functional, usable solutions
Experimenting with new tools and technologies
Solving real business problems using AI and software
Working closely with leadership on high-impact projects

What We’re Looking For

People who have actually built things (this matters more than anything)
Strong curiosity and problem-solving ability
Comfort learning new tools and technologies quickly
Hands-on experience with:
Coding (any language)
AI tools (ChatGPT, APIs, etc.)
Automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.)
Data, workflows, or systems building
Clear communication and ability to execute on ideas
Self-starters who take initiative and ownership

Preferred Backgrounds (but not required)

Computer Science
MIS / Information Systems
Data Analytics
Industrial Engineering
Or business students who are highly technical and self-taught
