AI Engineer (LLM / Generative AI)
Dallas, TX Area
1099 Contractor | $75–$100/hour
We’re building a small, high-impact team focused on applying AI in real-world business environments, particularly around process transformation and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role working closely with leadership and clients to design and deploy practical AI solutions.
You’ll be responsible for building LLM-based applications such as RAG pipelines, agent-based systems, and workflow automation, while owning the full lifecycle from data ingestion and retrieval through deployment. The role involves integrating AI into business processes, working directly with stakeholders, and delivering systems that are reliable, scalable, and easy to use.
We’re looking for someone with a strong engineering background and hands-on experience working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), Python, APIs, and modern frameworks such as LangChain or similar. Experience with vector databases and deploying systems in cloud environments is expected.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a client-facing setting and translating business needs into technical solutions.
