Role Overview

We are hiring an AI-native Product Manager who can bridge users, product, and AI technology, and independently drive product exploration and iteration.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys building, experimenting, and working hands-on with AI tools — while also being able to understand real user needs and translate them into product decisions.

You will take ownership of shaping AI-powered workflows and features, working closely with engineers to deliver impactful experiences to real users.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ User & Problem Understanding

• Talk to users and collect real-world feedback to identify underlying problems
• Understand why users need a feature, not just what they request
• Form hypotheses based on user behavior and product data
• Translate insights into structured product outputs for execution

2️⃣ AI Product & Technical Collaboration

• Understand capabilities and limitations of AI models (e.g. generation quality, reliability)
• Identify real-world product gaps (e.g. model misunderstanding, workflow friction)
• Work closely with engineering on APIs, model behavior, and trade-offs
• Continuously improve product quality even in relatively stable stages

3️⃣ Product Building & Execution

• Rapidly validate ideas using AI prototyping tools or lightweight builds
• Design product flows, requirements, and early prototypes independently
• Drive end-to-end execution from idea to launch and iteration
• Use data and user insights to improve activation, retention, and usability

4️⃣ Forward-looking Thinking

• Stay up to date with AI trends (LLMs, agents, workflows) in Silicon Valley
• Explore new technologies and evaluate how they can improve the product
• Bring new ideas into product direction, not just follow existing plans

Basic Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or builder-type roles
• Experience working on AI products, SaaS, or developer tools
• Experience in 0→1 or early-stage product development (e.g. 0 - $10k+ in revenue)
• Demonstrated ability to own problems and drive solutions independently
• Strong user empathy and ability to translate feedback into product decisions
• Comfortable working with technical concepts (APIs, system constraints, AI behavior)
• Fluent in English and working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI-native products (LLM / agents / workflow tools)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (prompting, automation, prototyping)
• Basic scripting or analytical skills (Python, SQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with product-led growth environments

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: USD $150,000 – $200,000
• Equity incentive
