We build AI employees. Not chatbots. Not copilots. Autonomous digital workers that do real jobs.

Ava, our first, is an AI BDR used by hundreds of companies. She researches leads, writes and sends emails in the customer's voice, runs multi-step outbound sequences, manages her own deliverability infrastructure, handles replies, and books meetings. She's not a tool someone opens. She's a teammate who works while you sleep.

YC W24. $35M+ raised. ~$10M ARR. Ava 2.0 just shipped. We're building the platform that replaces the sales stack, the surface area is enormous, and we move extraordinarily fast.

The role

You build products from end-to-end, acting as the PM, designer and engineer. You spec, design, ship, and own the outcome. The loop from "this is a problem" to "customers are using it in production" runs through one person in days, and that person is you.

We're hiring Builders to move at lightening speed. You’ll be the person who understands the user, shapes the interface, and writes the code. You’ll be running multiple Claude Code instances at once and getting 10x leverage on your time. You’ll have real taste and real sales context.

  1. Review our backlog
  2. Talk to customers
  3. Decide what matters
  4. Build and ship
  5. Iterate & scale
  6. Repeat

Who this is for

You probably fit one of these paths:

  • You founded something. You built the product and closed the customers. You wrote code on Sunday and pitched investors on Monday. You know what it feels like to hold the whole thing in your head, and you miss that.
  • You're a sales engineer who can actually ship. You've spent years being the bridge between product and GTM. At some point you realized you're better at building the thing than explaining it, and the AI tooling finally caught up to let you do that at speed.
  • You were in sales and taught yourself to code. You carried a bag, hit quota, got bored, picked up TypeScript. Now you're dangerous with Claude Code and you have strong, specific opinions about what every tool in the sales stack gets wrong.

What we're actually looking for:

  • You ship production TypeScript and React. You don't need to be a staff engineer, but you need to land features in a real codebase without hand-holding. AI tooling is a force multiplier for you, not a substitute for understanding what you're writing.
  • You know outbound from the inside. You've sent cold emails, run sequences, and sold a product.
  • You have taste. You care how things look and feel.
  • You make product decisions and defend them.
  • You don't wait to be told what to build, and you don't ship something you don't believe in.
  • You care about the products you build, and are happy to maintain them and fix bugs.
  • Bonus: you've launched a sales, CRM, or outbound tool that got actual users. Even a side project.
  • Bonus: a public body of work (GitHub, X, personal site, shipped products) that makes hiring you feel obvious.

Why this role

You are the team. No specs sitting in a queue. No waiting on design. No engineering handoff. The fastest feedback loop possible.

The leverage is real. You’ll ideate a product and it will be in the hands of thousands of users within weeks.

The problems are new. You’re building components of AI employees, solving novel problems in new ways.
