Forward Deployed Engineer - San Francisco, CA

A breakout startup reinventing insurance claims processing with AI already at 7-figure ARR are looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to join their team.

What will I be doing:

Own end-to-end client deployments of AI systems from scoping to go-live
Build and deploy agentic, multi-modal AI solutions with real business impact
Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, aligning technical solutions with business goals
Design and iterate on LLM-powered agents (prompting, integrations, rapid prototyping)
Integrate systems via APIs and client infrastructure
Feed insights back into the core product and help scale FDE best practices

What we're looking for:

2+ years in technical, client-facing roles (FDE, solutions, founding engineer, etc.)
Strong technical skills across Python, APIs, cloud, and modern AI/ML tooling
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows
Ability to translate complex tech into business outcomes
High ownership, fast-paced mindset, strong communication
