Founding Engineer

As a founding engineer, you’ll take end-to-end ownership on core features from product requirements to shipping to end users. That means you’ll have a key role in defining the future of CreativeMode and keep in touch with our growing user base. You’ll work directly with the founders and early team.

You’d be a great fit if you:

• Philosophy: You love to ship fast and make an impact. You have a high bar for quality and love moving from ideation to solution in the hands of our users as quickly as possible. We want someone with high agency and a balance between technical obsession and pragmatism.
• Experience: You have 1 to 5 years of experience building real world applications
• Language: You’re exceptional at Python, Go, TypeScript or similar
• Tools: Build your own tools as needed and love to use tools like Cursor to maximize your velocity. You improve systems along the way to help the entire team move faster and faster.
• Culture: We’re In-person in SF. We have a beautiful office in Chinatown that we share with several other YC/MIT startups. You’ll be in one of the most focused and talent dense offices in the city.

Bonus points if you:

• Have prior experience founding a company or building high-growth, community-driven products or experiences
• You understand video games and want to build something amazing for the community
• Keep up with the latest developments in AI/LLMs
