Founding Engineer

Fleetline writes optimization algorithms for large trucking companies; after a recent spike in contracted customers, we are now expanding the team and looking for founding engineers.

A bit about us:

• $500k in contracted ARR after 3 months of launch (a realistic path to $1m over the next 6 months)
• Founded by two best friends from high school
• Lean, welcoming, and dedicated founding team — expectation for every person in the company is to genuinely care about the vision and each other
• Backed by a large seed round from top investors like BoxGroup, Base10, and more

A bit about the role and ideal matches:

• Looking for generalists who are willing to do any task technically to push the team forward (from long-term product vision to integration work)
• Ideally comfortable with being forward deployed — ie, enjoy talking to clients and solving their specific problems
• Ships code fast and often; is not a perfectionist
• Is an extremely hard worker when they are in a strong team environment and working on a vision they care about
• Has experience at top start ups or big tech companies companies; or is an ex-founder/founding engineer; or someone who obsesses over side projects (deployed and live, ideally).
• Comfortable with Python/Typescript

Pedigree is generally not important — just looking for people who are grinders, intelligent, and are good at shipping.
