Job: Founding Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: New York City
Compensation: $200,000 (DOE) + Equity
We've partnered with a fast growing VC backed AI SaaS startup who are on a mission to redefine how enterprises leverage data and automation. Backed by top-tier investors and already gaining serious traction, they’re now hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers and shape the future of the product.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor, influence core architecture, and operate at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.
The Role:
- Work hands-on with customers to deploy and customize the platform in real-world environments
- Translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
- Build rapid prototypes, integrations, and production-ready features
- Partner closely with product & engineering to feed customer insights into the roadmap
- Own end-to-end implementations—from design to deployment
Wish List:
- Strong engineering background (Python, TypeScript, or similar)
- Experience working in customer-facing or forward-deployed roles (solutions engineering, implementation, etc.)
- Experience already working in a production ready environment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move quickly
- Excellent communication skills—comfortable with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Startup mindset: ownership, adaptability, and bias toward action
