We're partnering with an early-stage startup building a managed platform for the full lifecycle of scientific machine learning, from data discovery to model training to production inference, purpose-built for the biotech and life sciences space.

The founding team includes a repeat biotech founder with a deep industry network and a CTO who previously led engineering at two well-known, high-growth tech companies. You'll be engineering hire #4 at this 11-person company.

The Role

This is a true founding engineer position. You'll report directly to the CTO, own the end-to-end build of the user-facing platform, and have real influence over architecture, engineering culture, and hiring from day one.

The Stack

Go and AWS on the backend, React and TypeScript on the frontend, with GPU infrastructure being built from scratch for ML training and inference.

You're a fit if you:

Have 5+ years of backend experience with Go/Python/Node and 2+ years with React/TypeScript
Have worked in both startup and scaled environments (or scrappy startups end to end)
Are not looking for a staff or principal title, but want the ownership and scope that comes with a founding role
Care about product sense and shipping, not just writing clean code
Have bonus points for ML pipeline, ML inference, LLM fine-tuning, or data platform experience
