🚀 Founding Software Engineer

📍 New York, NY (On-site)

💰 $175K – $225K + Meaningful Equity

We’re partnered with a well-funded, early-stage fintech startup building a modern data platform for private markets. With strong backing and early traction, they’re looking for a Founding Engineer (employee #4) to help define the product and engineering culture from the ground up.

💡 The Role

Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs
Develop infrastructure to ingest, transform, and analyse complex financial data
Work closely with end users to turn workflows into product features
Contribute to technical direction, hiring, and roadmap

✅ What We’re Looking For

2–7 years’ software engineering experience
Strong backend development skills (Python, Java, or Go)
Experience building in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Product-focused mindset and collaborative approach
Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Nice to have: Experience with AI / LLM-enabled products
