Full Stack Engineer

Founding Fullstack Engineer – Decision Intelligence Platform | SF | $150k–$250k

A well-backed, early-stage startup is building the decision intelligence layer for industrial operations — think agents and mathematical optimisation replacing the manual, human-in-the-loop workflows that manufacturers have relied on for decades. They're already saving customers millions, and they're just getting started.

This is a founding engineering hire. You'll work directly with customers, own features end-to-end, and build systems at the edge of what's technically possible — combining agent-based reasoning with large-scale industrial data.

The stack: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic v2, SQLModel), TypeScript (React, TanStack), Postgres/pgvector, Dagster, Pydantic AI, Langfuse.

What they're looking for:

• 3+ years of experience as a backend-leaning fullstack engineer
• Genuine comfort owning both backend (~70%) and frontend (~30%) — this is not a pure backend role
• Experience shipping production code 0-to-1, ideally at a VC-backed startup or in a high-bar engineering environment
• Strong with Python and TypeScript; comfortable with containerisation and distributed systems
• A builder mentality — someone who thrives with ownership, proximity to customers, and high standards
