Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Compensation: $125K – $250K

Overview

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of modern fintech and distributed systems, helping to redefine how money moves globally. The role sits within a small, senior engineering team and involves close collaboration with executive leadership to design and deliver core product capabilities.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have prior experience in payments, fintech, or a startup environment. This background is essential given the complexity, pace, and ownership expectations of the role.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features across web and mobile platforms
• Own projects end-to-end, from initial concept through to production deployment
• Integrate with third-party financial and payments systems (e.g. processors, banking infrastructure, on/off-ramps, identity and compliance tools)
• Develop scalable, high-performance systems capable of handling large volumes of financial transactions
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Production experience building mobile applications with React Native (Expo experience preferred)
• Proven track record of delivering complex product features from concept to launch
• Ability to debug and operate across the full stack
• Solid understanding of security best practices, especially in handling sensitive financial data
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity in an early-stage startup setting

Preferred Experience

• Background in payments, fintech integrations (e.g. Stripe, Plaid, ACH), or blockchain infrastructure
• Prior experience as an early engineer in a startup, with significant product ownership
