About the Company

We are currently working a with a Series A, Accel-backed fintech founded by repeat entrepreneurs that specializes in building next-generation credit products for underserved markets in Southeast Asia in search for an AI Engineer to join the team.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced AI Engineer to design and build intelligent agent systems powered by LLMs. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, product, and operations—owning both the underlying logic of agent behavior and how those agents integrate into real-world financial workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build AI agents powered by LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Develop core business logic that governs agent decision-making, constraints, and behavior
• Build infrastructure for agent orchestration, tool usage, and data access
• Integrate agents into credit and underwriting workflows, including document parsing and information extraction
• Develop customer-facing agents that support tasks like travel planning, shopping, and financial actions
• Partner across product and ops to ensure agents perform reliably in production environments
• Contribute to a broader vision of AI-powered financial products (e.g., “wealth manager in your pocket”)

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience building with LLMs and AI agents in production environments
• Backend-leaning engineer with solid system design and infrastructure experience
• Experience working at high-growth startups and operating in ambiguous environments
• Ability to blend product thinking with deep technical execution
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, tool use, and sandboxed environments

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or credit/underwriting systems
• Exposure to document processing, OCR, or information extraction pipelines
• Prior work on customer-facing AI applications
