Senior Full Stack Engineer
We’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an early‑stage startup operating in the generative artificial intelligence domain. This is a highly hands‑on role for an engineer who enjoys building from the ground up, taking ownership of core product features, and working closely with a small, fast‑moving team.
You’ll be designing, developing, and deploying high‑quality product features across a modern, scalable tech stack while helping shape the technical direction of next‑generation AI products. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate and excited about building with GenAI and mentoring junior engineers in a high‑ownership environment. What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and deploy full‑stack product features across frontend and backend systems
- Work closely with product and engineering leaders to translate ideas into production‑ready solutions
- Develop modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and tRPC
- Build and maintain backend services in Python (Flask or similar frameworks)
- Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across the application stack
- Lead projects end‑to‑end with a high degree of ownership and visibility
- Mentor and support the growth of junior engineers
Qualifications
- 6+ years of full‑stack engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript, experience with tRPC and Next.JS preferred
- Experience developing Python backend services (Flask or equivalent)
- Proven ability to deliver clean, production‑ready code in fast‑paced environments
- Strong independent problem‑solving skills with end‑to‑end ownership mentality
- Interest in or experience with generative AI
- Comfortable collaborating in an onsite, early‑stage startup environment
- Prior startup and/or AI experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $140,000–$210,000k+, depending on experience
