We’re working with an exciting early-stage client building at the intersection of AI, data, and distributed systems — and they’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join their core team.

🔍 What we’re looking for:

5+ years of experience across frontend + backend systems
Background in both top-tier tech companies and startups
Strong generalist mindset — comfortable navigating ambiguity and building from scratch
Ownership-driven, iterative builder mentality
Bonus: Experience in distributed systems, data infrastructure, or AI/ML
Strong CS fundamentals (top programs preferred)

🛠 What you’ll do:

Design and build a core intelligence engine end-to-end
(data ingestion → model orchestration → feedback loops → APIs → UI integration)
Own architecture across the stack (Python / Go / TypeScript)
Collaborate directly with founders on product roadmap & technical vision
Define engineering standards for an AI-first organization
Engage with customers to understand real-world use cases

$160K – $220K base
