At Tasklet, we’re building the cloud agent OS for work. Our product needs to run everywhere — web, desktop (Mac & Windows), iOS, and Android — so our users can work with their agent wherever they are. We believe we can be the main app that most knowledge workers use for everything.
We’re looking for a staff-level engineer to own our client application stack. You’ll be the person who makes Tasklet feel fast, native, and rock-solid on every platform. This is a foundational leadership role with very generous equity — we need someone truly world-class.
Compensation
- $280k → $380k salary
- 0.4% → 0.80% equity
- Competitive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, 4 weeks PTO, free lunch, etc)
Responsibilities
- Own the client application layer across web, desktop, iOS, and Android
- Build and maintain our real-time sync and API architecture so the agent experience is seamless
- Define our cross-platform strategy: what’s shared, what’s native, and where to invest
- Make Tasklet feel native on every platform — fast startup, smooth interactions, platform-appropriate UX
- Drive performance relentlessly — our users live in this app all day, every millisecond matters
Our ideal candidate
- Very strong CS fundamentals & experience building complex distributed systems
- Exceptional, AI-native programming skills using an ultra-modern stack
- You’re AGI-pilled & deep into relevant AI tech
- You’ve built and shipped production client apps across multiple platforms
- You obsess over performance, startup time, and the small details that make an app feel great
- You’ve built real-time data systems, sync engines, or complex state management at scale
- You could easily be a staff engineer at a top AI lab — but you want the outsized impact of a startup, and you believe Tasklet can win
